We had an amazing weekend getaway in the highlands! The en-suite wigwam was spotlessly clean and cozy, and the fresh eggs from the nearby farm made for a delicious breakfast. The owner, Jenny, was incredibly helpful and kind, making sure we had everything we needed. We were pleasantly surprised by how warm and midge-free the wigwam was, providing a comfortable stay. The price was reasonable, and the hospitality and well-kept accommodation were top-notch. Plus, the location was perfect for exploring the stunning NC500 route and the beautiful surrounding area.
The only downside was that the main kitchen didn't have a heater, and the floor was quite cold in the morning. However, once we started cooking breakfast, the kitchen warmed up nicely.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin at Bower Pods. It was cozy and warm, even during a snowstorm. the kitchen provided a comforting refuge where we could enjoy hot drinks and use the wifi. We also had the opportunity to meet other fellow travelers there. the friendly welcome we received made us feel right at home. the cabin itself was impeccably clean, with a fresh and new appearance. We were able to have a delicious breakfast with the owner's own eggs. Despite a small hiccup with our reservation, the issue was quickly resolved and didn't cause any inconvenience. we had a fantastic experience and hope the owners feel the same way!
Nothing, it was perfect! 😊.

We enjoyed the quiet location of the accommodations, waking up next to the cows and sheep was a unique experience. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, making our stay pleasant. Additionally, the well-equipped kitchen provided farm-fresh eggs and Shetland Heiffer hamburger meat, adding to the overall convenience of our stay.
The lack of heating in the main kitchen, which made the floor quite cold in the morning. It did warm up after cooking breakfast, but it would have been more comfortable with a heater.

The location of the hotel provides beautiful open views and is conveniently located near a Tesco for convenience. Guests can enjoy warm and comfortable accommodations, such as the lovely and cozy wigwams. The friendly and helpful staff make the stay even more enjoyable, providing access to a kitchen, toilet, and shower facilities. Guests can also take advantage of the fire pit, perfect for stargazing and relaxation.
The Wi-Fi signal in the cabins is poor and there is no seating available at the outdoor fire pit.

bower pods in bowermadden was great, but this stay was even better! the deluxe camping pod was like a spacious apartment, bigger than other pods we've stayed in. the en suite bathroom and kitchenette made it so comfortable. the hosts were welcoming and the location was perfect, a short drive to john o'groats. we loved it here!
Toilet/shower off the kitchen was a bit awkward.

During my recent stay at Bower Pods, I was delighted to find everything I needed for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The self-check-in process made getting settled in easy, and the beautiful Wigwam. The fully equipped kitchen had all the necessary amenities, and the fine view of the farm right outside our door added a unique touch to our stay. The owners, Jenny and James, were friendly and provided us with plenty of recommendations for local attractions.

I had a great time glamping in the north of Scotland. The wigwam I stayed in was very comfortable, and the facilities were spotless. The hosts were welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. There were fresh eggs and delicious burgers available, which was a nice touch. The location was also convenient, just a short drive from John o'groats. The pod was spacious and had all the necessary amenities, including electricity and a TV. it was a fantastic stay and I would definitely return.
The Wi-Fi signal in the area was poor and didn't reach the cabins.

The beautiful Wigwam was like a home away from home, fully equipped with a kitchen and a separate bedroom. The view of the farm was very nice, great to relax and observe the cows and rams in their natural habitat. Both Jenny and James were friendly and approachable, providing us with plenty of recommendations for things to do and see. We would highly recommend this unique and enjoyable experience to everyone. If we ever find ourselves up North again, we will definitely be back. Thank you so much!
The breakfast could have been better with more variety.

We were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome we received at Bower Pods. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and provided us with helpful information about the area. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and we especially enjoyed the communal kitchen where we could prepare family meals. Our children were thrilled to witness the birth of a calf during our stay, adding a memorable touch to our experience. It was a great location for our Orkney expedition, and we left with fond memories of our time at Bower Pods.

We were actually surprised by the warm welcome and hospitality at Bower Pods. The honesty box system for farm produce was a unique and enjoyable experience. Despite the small number of pods available, everything was meticulously clean and well-maintained. The peaceful and quiet location made for a relaxing stay.
